Statistics for Premasters

This is a summary of the lectures and book of the statistic course during the pre-master communication and information science at Tilburg University. It covers the chapters of the book 'Discovering statistics using IBM SPSS Statistics' by Andy Field, supplemented with the teaching material that was given during the lectures. Oh and it also comprises a little overview of the abbreviations in the book and lectures. Good luck with your exam!

This document comprises a few examples for all the statistical tests of the statistics course during the pre-master. This will come in handy during the take-home exams and the final exam, because it will save you time finding the right statistical test to execute.

This document summarizes the general steps of a test, the effect sizes of each test, important SPSS options (such as coding or recoding variables), all steps of each test and the correct APA notation of all static tests. This exam contains EVERYTHING you need for the final exam. Moreover, this summary comes in handy during the exam as well (open book exam). It contains: step by step SPSS tutorials, how to report the exams (you only need to fill in the blanks) and a table that tells you what test you'll need. I even linked the tests that renamed in that table to the pages of the corresponding tests. This means no searching the whole document, just click on the name of the test.
