Unemployment is the fifth installment in the Economics 101 collection. In this section, we will examine the different types of unemployment, and what their economic effects may be. We will also briefly touch on technology in economics, which will be elaborately explained in the sixth installment of this lesson.

The Basics of Economics is the first installment in the Economics 101 series. In this first chapter, we will briefly touch on what Economics is, and how it plays into both historic and modern society.

Economic Systems & Macroeconomics is the fourth installment in the Economics 101 series. This is a one-page, intermediary chapter which very quickly examines macroeconomics in essence,= and the many different types of economic systems we may see in the world. This is including, but not limited to, market economies and planned economies, communism, capitalism, and mixed markets.

The Three Questions of Economics is the second installment in the Economics 101 series. In this chapter, we will review the three questions of economics, what, how, and who. These study notes examine how one can answer each question, and what relevance those answer play into both historic and modern economies. This chapter will significantly prepare you for the following chapter, Economics 101 #3 - Specialization and Trade.

Specialization and Trade is the third installment of the Economics 101 study notes. In this chapter, we will take an in-depth look at the concept of specialization and how that effects the trading market, as well as briefly touching on the Industrial Revolution and Steam Power as they relate to the emergence of specialization in the production process. We will also dive into comparative advantage; this unit includes examples and charts to help clarify each concept.
