The impactful documentary Superheroes directed by Michael Barnett depicts every day, real life people aspiring to become crime-fighting superheroes. In this film, regular citizens portray themselves in the communities as creative superheroes that go out and investigate any misconduct. Barnett’s documentary Superheroes demonstrates that existing victimization patterns in society motivate these individuals, and that there is rarely police in the area to prevent the crime.
